Long bearded pirates have all the fun(loads of it)

Hi. It's the end of 2008. Does it feel like it to you? It has been quite the year and normally I don't really reflect on the passing year but now I am so unless you have something better to do(which if you did, you'd be reading something else already) enjoy the following.

I've done quite a bit, met some new people and actually grown quite a bit. My Nana passed away about this time a year ago and it feels like it was longer than that, years and years ago even. And then other things feel like hey happened yesterday, like when I got my licence and was given the freedom that only a car can bring. I've been on vacations and to appointments and it just all kind of melts down to one floating blob I guess..there's no real way to describe it. I've had good times like going to Vermont and becoming closer with some good friends. I try and focus on that. And I hope these changes continue, my maturity as a person and my ability to really grasp reality and what I have to do. And this will just continue into the next melty floating blob that will soon be 2009. I don't really know what to expect for this next section of time approaching but I'm being more optimistic than I have been in previous years. Things will hopefully look better for our world(lame I know..get over it). I don't know what will happen and neither does anyone reading this but that's okay because mystery is exciting. That's why I read Mary Higgins Clark(she's awesome hehe).

Anywho I hope you guys have had a good year and I hope the next one is better. Adios 2008, and Welcome 2009, I'm Sean, it's nice to meet you and I hope we work well together. See ya next year!

And he walked on the stumps and pushed 'em to the ground

I love vacation time. I haven't done much that was productive since last last Wednesday. I sleep till about 12 and mosey my way down to the kitchen to eat some cereal in my boxers and watch TV. Then I play around on the computer and read and watch more TV. Coincidentally I feel like a slug..but I don't really care right now. I went to Tara's house on Sat.with Jenna and they got me maple syrup an PLAID which I've already been wearing so thank you both! We sat around and talked and I had loads o' fun. I really enjoyed myself and to carry on the festivities Tar and I are going to see Seven Pounds even though nobody knows what the hell it's about..a mystery movie I guess. So that's about it. I hope to break this slump and be more active and social this vacation because if I keep siting around I'm going to get bed sores haha. Well I'm off to go pay my damn parking ticket at the police station..yay. See ya later!

ps- Here's a little video to sum up my lumberjack image, enjoy!

Feliz Navidad Y'all!

Yay Christmas! I already miss it. It really happened too quickly but all was not bad. I got my mini fridge(oh yeah!), new awesome PC speakers with a sub woofer, some Cd's, and two DVDs, oh and clothes. So yeah it was awesome times all around. I had a good time with my family even if half of them were crocked. Actually that made it funnier to be with them. I'm going to the store tomorrow to get stuff to stock my fridge. Any suggestions(legal)? And also I get to have my sisters old huge flat screen monitor and newish cell phone b/c she got new laptop AND cell phone, WTF?! I don't get b/c she's been a bitch most of the year. Whatever, I cant complain too much. Well that's about it. Good times all around. Well, see you all soon, Merry Xmas!

Santa Claus is coming to MY HOUSE, not yours:)

Tonight was grrrreat(best cereal, best tiger). Tara and I went to the Fantasy of Lights which was fantablulous...and exactly as I remembered it to be. But before that we got hot chocolate and I touched the lady at the DD's arm b/c she said it was cold and I didn't believe her. I'm a believer now haha. After the light show we drove around and almost got lost in New Haven and then I took her (Tara, not the Dunkin Doughnuts girl) to see some houses near my house with awesome light displays and then we sat in her driveway, drew on my hot cocoa cup(the ink leaked into the hot cocoa btw) and chatted whilst listening to crappy radio music. A great time.

HEYYYYYYYYY! It's almost Christmas and I really cant believe it. I'm ready to eat and eat and watch A Christmas Story about a hundred times on TBS and open presents and all that jazz. It'll be ______. So yeah tomorrow I'll go to my aunts first and then to my grandmas for dinner. I like it because I get to see my cousins who are all in their 20s so holidays are about the only time we see each other. That and I love the food, ohhhhh yeah!

If I must...

It's been a good week. I got my Christmas tree on Sunday. It's a bit smaller than we normally get but it looks snazzy with all the lights and ornaments on it (which my cats are already knocking down). I worked that day too and it was really slow. I got to check my email and play solitaire for about a half hour before some old lady wanted to check out some large print Mary Higgins Clark novel. Then on Tuesday I had newspaper and then went to Tara's casa. She played her 3 stringed guitar and we had Xmas cookies while laughing at her sass-tastic sister. Then after sitting around we went to Walmart, land of awesome toys, cheap electronics, and creepy elderly. We got gifts and walked around and I played with the toys cuz yeah, I'm that cool! I even saw my third grade teacher who says I'm still the best student she ever had (of course hehe). We had loads. I worked today and ate a lot of Xmas cookies and put books away. It has be quite productive so far.

I'm excited for Christmas even though it has arrived pretty quickly. I want my mini fridge. I'm also excited to got to the light festival with Tara. That will be _________(fill in the blank). So yeah I cant wait for the break and all the fun I'll be partaking in. I don't feel very well and hope I can go to school b/c AP Walking awaits. See ya soon!

Did you know I'm The Cranberries' inspiration?

For once I didn't spend my Friday night alone with me, lady laptop, and nothing good to eat in the house. Instead, Tara and I went to Jenna's casa. It was loads. We read the Chuck Norris book and talked. We had bacon pizza and ice cream(yes in the winter). We drove even thought Jenna literally lives right next to Ashley's. We froze and sat in the car and listened to The Cranberries. I played with Jenna's crazy eyed dog and just had loads (o fun). I'm pretty sure Jenna was about to fall asleep with us there so Tara and I left around 12 ish and talked some more. So yeah, a lot better than playing free online games and watching shit on TV, a lot better indeed.

Today I went with my neighbors to the Bronx Zoo. Usually they have a holiday lights show but it was cancelled because they didn't have the funding :( So we just walked around in 28 degree weather and saw the bird house and the mouse house and seals. It was an okay time, a little disappointing but still okay.

I think I have to work tomorrow at the library Come visit me because I'll be bored. Then after i hope we can go get a Christmas tree. So yeah, that's my weekend. See ya around.

Here in my sleepyhouse

I'm back. From where, you may ask, well from everywhere. It has been a busy week. I have been working al ot at the library. I've also been studying for AP Bio test which went okayish. It just feels like this week has gone by in a blur, slow and hazy(and no I wasn't high) more like unfocused, unattached from what I've been doing. So if I seemed a bit zombie like this week, well there's no real explanation for it. Maybe I need sleep or nutrients or more sleep and caffeine.

I'm going to the Bronx Zoo on Saturday (weather permitting) to go see the Holiday Lights show. You walk around and they have all cool light statues and stuff it's a lot of fun. Other than that, no solid idea of hat I'll spend my time doing. I should work on my Hawthorne essay but that requires me to exert unnecessary amounts of energy on a guy I don't really like that much. All his stories are the same ish. Although I will give him credit, he does talk about some creepy things.

I like the rain. It's splatter against the window is calming, soothing, and helps me sleep. So off I go, with the help of rain, hot chocolate, and maybe some music, to sleep. Night y'all.

Used books, fat cats, and an artist named Sean

Well first of all, Jerry was hilarious! It was a great bday gift. I like how he shouts at things to express his anger towards them. That was jut the beginning of my weekend of fun. Saturday, I went to ginger bread house making with my neighbor (who's 11). I woke up late but I still managed to get there not too late. Then I drove him to his dad's house in the middle of nowhere Guilford and got lost on the way home. Then Tara, Jenna, and Colin came over to my house only to discover I have a psycho sister who is very possessive of her Xbox. We played Life and go fish but quickly tired of both. Dinner at the diner followed but we realized we had some extra time before we went to go see The Crucible so we went to Jenna and sat in her library while Colin Facebook stalked weird people. We saw the play which was fun times, very well done. Then today we went to the book barn in Niantic. It's my kind of place with all the books and cats and goats. So yeah it was loads of fun and I hope we do it again soon.

Now I have to go write 5 essays and do a packet for AP Bio, yay. See ya later.

Thursday, December 4, 2008

So what's the deal with airline food?

So guess what I'm doing tomorrow? Give up? Well, I'll tell ya. Tomorrow I'm going to see Jerry Seinfeld do stand up at Foxwoods wooo! I think he is hilarious and I really love his brand o' comedy so that should be a good time. Then on Saturday myself and others are going to see The Crucible play at our school. It's a good story so I hope they deliver a good performance. Actors; Make Arther proud.

So this week has brought a bit of unfortunate occurrences to the people around me. My aunt got her credit card stolen, everybody ( and soon me) is getting sick, and 2 of m teacher's computers died. Kind of weird but maybe that's what I get for making jokes about the one legged skiers we saw in advisory. I hope the black cloud moves on soon to doom other snarky people with the bad luck it brings.

Also, today Colin, Clayton, and I went to Walsh. Clayton works on their school newspaper and Colin and I wanted to visit our old teachers. That school still sucks as much as it did when I went there, which feels so long ago. Randy gave us candy which was fun. Whether she remembered our names I cant say, but she remembered us and she's still cranky and funny.

Well I have to go write and essay or two so I will return with some Seinfeld comedy for y'all later! See ya!

Monday, December 1, 2008

And so I'm offering this simple phrase...

It's December 1st and that means Christmas music! I can't get enough of Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby and their Christmas awesomeness. I'm already in the mood for sledding and Christmas trees and all that other jazz that accompanies the Xmas spirit.

And apparently we (the U.S.) has been in a recession since 2007, WTF! Why couldn't they have just told us earlier? But I'm not really surprised. Well as long as gas prices continue to stay low and I don't lose money I'm happy, kinda.

I have more energy tonight than usual but it's too dark to do anything active. I hope this new found boost lasts because I've been a little tired lately. Sorry, I know that's boring but I'm bored so this is what I've got for now. Colin still sucks.

Well I'm going to go listen to more Jingle Bell Rock and eat.

Becoming Obsolete

I've noticed that many of the things I thought were innovative and cool are now pointless and basically a waste. Blockbuster. Who rents DVDs or buys them for that matter? I know I do but most people get them online for free so why go out and pay unnecessary amounts of moolah for them? Another thing is this Flypen I got last Xmas. I seemed so cool and now, almost a year later, it sits in the box after I used it about 2-3 times. That's why this year for Christmas I'm asking for things I know wont fade with the times. One of the random things I want are a mini fridge to house soda, milk for cereal, and other cool goods. Another thing I want is a computer desk for my laptop. Again, something I can use for a long time. I also just want some Cd's, which may be obsolete for some but I still love them. I realized I have everything I need to keep me entertained like my laptop, ipod, TV, and car. So the rest is "fun fluff".

So yeah that's about it. I can't concentrate long enough to take out my work and put y damn name on it. I really want some turkey to make me sleepy. Colin sucks.

I'm going to practice the harmoica, wanna listen? See ya later.

Nothing is easy, or is it?

Today I had an AP Bio test an usually I can tell if I did well or not afterwards. But this tie is different I have no idea how I did. Well I'll find out tomorrow. Also today, I got what I consider to be a bit of an ego boost. I know people may act like they don't have an ego and don't want anything to do with them, but that's a lie. Anyway, I got my English 11 honors essay back and the comments MOgren left were a real surprise. I didn't think what I wrote made any sense but I guess it did. She said I had an interesting way of looking at Walden and Thoreau in general and all this other stuff that really made me happy. I have been mulling the idea of majoring in English and becoming an English teacher or professor. Last year I didn't do very well for some reason but now it seems my writing has improved a bit and that is where the ego boost comes from. It's nice to know that the idea of becoming an English major isn't hopeless.

It has been cold out, just in case you didn't know.

Also, I have once again forgotten something important the past few blogs. Colin sucks.

I'm going to go eat and watch some House(it's lupus).

Monday, November 17, 2008

It's been a hard day's night

And yes, I have been working like a dog and would like to go sleep like a log(Beatles reference FYI). I have been continuously working at the library moving crap for a holiday fair around and studying for AP Bio. But all hasn't been bad. This weekend I went to the Indian restaurant with my neighbor. I love all the spicy saucy combos! Then I worked but did get paid so that was good. Today Tara and I went hiking. It was loads. I got us lost a few times and led us to a lot of mud but we had a good time chatting and finding out we have a lot in common.

I need sleep. I'm to the point where all I can think about is the Calvin Cycle and sleep, damn.

I'm off to do both, see ya around.

It was a New Day Yesterday

How are you? I'm good. Anyway this past weekend I went with my family to Boston. We had a good time. I got to go the the Cheesecake Factory(the best factory EVER!) and go to the Science Museum which I always enjoy. We also visited Salem and went to the Witch Museum. I know this itinerary looks like the 8th grade field trip but we actually went to a bunch of other places like Copley Square and the Prudential building and other cool places. I think living in Boston would be cool for maybe a year, then I would want my woods and space and quiet back.

We have a weird schedule this week; no school Tuesday and a half day Wednesday but I'm not complaining, except I do have to write 8 essays by Friday but what ever. I'm in the mood for more cheesecake.

I know for the past few blogs I have forgotten to mention something vital but tonight I remembered, Colin sucks! There, I know you've all been waiting to see that again.

I'm off to write an essay or two, see ya later.

OBAMA '08, It's OFFICIAL!!!!

Damn right it has finally happened! I truly believe in him and his abilities as the next president of our country. This election has really made history and it was surprising to me that countries all over the world are in full support of the Obama nation! People may say he doesn't have experience but maybe that's a good thing. Think about it, do we really want a president who has been molded into the government's ways like past electees? I know I don't because I am seriously ready for change in our country, the good kind of change that Barack Obama will bring come January. So there we go, our next president, Barack Obama this blog post is for you!

Now in less exciting me news, I am going to Boston this weekend and I cant wait because we are going to Salem first. I love going though all the old churches and houses so it should be fun. We're also going to the Cheesecake factory which is in the same building as my hotel! Whoo! We'll also visit a lot of museums, the science one is my favorite. So that's what is new, go OBAMA and I'll be back later.

No School and I'm Feeling Fine

Well since my last post I have been a bit busy. I went trick or treating with my neighbor but I didn't get a lot of candy, which pissed me off but that was supplemented by cake and left over candy at home. Then after I did that my friends Hanna and Jay came over and we sat around and had a good time. Saturday brought me to work setting up for the library's 50th anniversary party with a bunch of old people which was boring, but I got free food so that made it better. Sunday I went hiking with Hanna and jay at Chatfield Hollow in Killingworth and we had a great time even though we got lost and ended up near the Madison shooting range which scared the crap out of me. I got all he gifts I asked for, even the harmonica which I must say, is awesome. I had to study for an AP Bio exam which took for ever but it's over for now and I'm glad. We have no school tomorrow and I have to work so I'm a little pissed but whatever.

Tomorrow is also election day, OBAMA '08! I'm feeling confident and America should feel that way at this time with all of the woes we as a country are facing. Anyway the next post better contain good outcomes from the election. Until then, keep your fingers crossed.

BOO! I scared you!

HAPPY ALMOST HALLOWEEN! I love Halloween for a few reasons. One, its marks the day of my arrival into the world(the best day, I know). I'll be 17 so I can now see R rated movies, oh boy! Second, I LOVE CANDY! I would consider myself a candy whore, I cant get enough of the sugary fantasticness. And third, I like getting the candy with my friends and then taking some of their candy for myself(I may have a problem)haha!

So yeah Halloween rocks and because it's on Friday, I can stay out later even though most of the people in my neighborhood are old and will be asleep by 8pm but oh well, I can always open my presents. This brings me to my next point, thank you T for the awesome book. I have already started it and love it! Thanks a lot!

Well people I must now go guard my mailbox from certain destruction, goodnight and enjoy HALLOWEEN, and while you are getting candy thin of yours truly! Bye:)

Hey remember that time...because I don't.

I really don't like how early it gets dark outside. I like being able to go outside until at least 6:30 without needing a flashlight. Anyways today was interesting. I found out that their was a couple of skin heads who were planning to assassinate Barack Obama as well has shoot and decapitate 88 black people. If you have seen these two you would hardly think that they were capable of conjuring and executing such a plan. Well thank god their plans were foiled and they were both apprehended. I find this news eerie because in my sociology class we are watching the movie American History X which is a movie about skins heads. It is surprising that these people are truly convinced that they are the superior race and religion. And if you haven't seen this movie yet, you should, keeping in mind that there is gratuitous violence and the film is very graphic, yet eye opening.

Saying that, I feel like a movie critic.

Also today I decided to rejoin our school newspaper, a struggling club that we as a school should support more, especially because people are always saying we need more school spirit, well here it is. I hope it works out because it sounds like fun. Colin sucks

I am trying to get my costume together but I can find suspenders anywhere, any suggestions?

Well I going to go work on another set of AP Bio test corrections, yay. See ya.

Saturday, October 25, 2008

Come out come out, no use in hiding.

I've been listening to Dave Mathews lately because I really like his thought provoking lyrics, even though his tour bus dumped their sewage on a boat of tourists and that listening to him makes me feel like another pretencious hippy. Good stuff though. It has been a few days since I've blogged(new verb) and there are two reasons for this; I've been studying all week and I've really done nothing else noteworthy. But that's okay. Today was exceptionally boring. I slept late, watched tv and went to McDonald's(oh yeah!) and then went back to more tv. I watched about 5 episodes of House and then other crap. I kind of needed a day like today even though I have an entire essay about Thoreau that is way overdue and I have about 10 books I could be reading, but what the hell.

I have to work tomorrow at the library, helping old people find the large print mystery section and showing hobos where the bathrooms are. Oh and I get to but out 50 chairs for a lecture that about 10 people will actually go to. But then I can come home to write that essay, yay.

Colin sucks.

I also have concluded that November 4th is taking too long to come and go, it just needs to happen already. We as a nation need to officially declare Barack Obama our next president so we can all move forward into some real progress as a country.

Well all that political blah has made me want to watch more House, so I will. See ya around

Monday, October 20, 2008

Bikini Bottom we love you!

Another productive day watching Spongebob. The weekend seemed to pass by way too fast. I had PSATS on Sat. morning and hen I went to the movies and dinner with my friends, which was loads of fun. I spent all day Sunday working on AP Bio and I still hadn't finished so I came in late this morning so that I could finish, only to find out that 6 kids we only in class, the rest on a field trip, so I was pretty pissed, but what ever.

I really am enjoying the weather. I love having to bundle up and walk though the crunchy leaves and smell the crisp air. Good times.

Busy week ahead. Lots of studying, essay writing, and Oreo consuming awaits me.

AP Walking tomorrow so be ready for some intense track walking. Colin sucks.

I'm going to go eat dinner, which has a strange but enticing aroma to it. Smell ya later.

Friday, October 17, 2008

It was a graveyard smash.

Today is Friday! This week has been extremely slow for me. I had a lot of work to do and I'm still not done but oh well.

I'm going to Lake Compounce tonight for the Haunted Graveyard walk, ooooo! I hope I don't get so scared that I need a spare change of boxers haha. I want to be one of the people who chases little kids around and yelling. Is that weird? I don't care, it sounds cool to me.

Tomorrow I have PSATS at fucking at 7:30. Why so early huh? But that's OK because later on in the day myself, Tara, Jenna, Mike, and Colin(who sucks) are going to the diner and then to see the movie W. Its about time someone made a movie about that dumb shit.

Anyway, I enjoyed the final debate between Obama and McCain. It strengthened my trust and faith in Obama and yet again lowered my views of McCain even more.

Well I'm off to have some frosted flakes and watch TV, see ya around.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

The mountains win again... I think.

Thanks Blues Traveler for the title(that's what I'm listening to right now). So today was a good day. I had school, still boring. Then I went out on my boat for a little while and we shortly realized it was uber choppy out so we headed in towards the river, but it was still fun.

PSATS are approaching and I still need to sign up(this is my reminder for me and possible you). I just want to get them over with. I knew this would be a full year but damn. I kind of just want to hit pause for a minute and go for a hike (a real hike, not metaphorically). But I'm dealing with it.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, the longest and busiest day for me. I'll remind you tomorrow, don't worry.

Colin sucks.

I get to go see Jerry Seinfeld in December(my bday gift). I hope he's still funny like he used to be.

I also discovered that I want to play the harmonica. Maybe professionally, who knows. I asked for a harmonica for my bday(they're like $20) so I'm not being spoiled:)

I'm going to do a little AP Bio work, then maybe read a little. See ya 'round.

Sunday, October 12, 2008

How do the laws of thermodynamics relate to..who gives a shit?

If you answer that question with "I give a shit about thermodynamics" then go away. I'm, of course, referring to AP Bio and how boring these essays we have to write are. Any who, today I went to work at the Stony Creek library again. I work there in the summer and they've hired me for Sundays and Wednesdays(random, I Know). That's was, unfortunately, the highlight of my weekend. I know that's sad, but maybe tomorrow will bring something a little more exciting. I hope to maybe hang out with my neighbor and maybe go for a long bike ride. I really feel like going to Maine for a little while, to my family's cottage on a beautiful lake and a huge mountain nestled behind the lake. Want to join me?

Here's some news:

Good news gays, you can get married here in Connecticut! Congrats to you!

North Korea has been taken off of our terrorist list, yay?

Colin sucks.

And world leaders are scrambling to fix our shitty economy. But hey, at least oil's cheap and the news media has something to focus on.

And that's what our world's main topics are, in case you've been secluded in a cave over the past few weeks.

And if anyone as any suggestions for a Halloween costume for me, let me know because I'm at a lose and time is running out.

I'm going to work on my AP Bio work, not really. See ya around.

Friday, October 10, 2008

Funky Sweaters and Vice Principals

Today I was Bill Cosby. I was Bill Cosby as on of our vice principals and I moved around and wore crazy sweaters to match my mood. This, of course, is why I never can get any work done. But at least I had fun.

I took a half day today. I wouldn't have come in at all but I was supposed to take a test, which senora crazy forgot about. Then I was to give a presentation, but we ran out of time. So I was really pissed. But rather than sulk in my misery, I went to KFC and got a sadness bowl(Patton Oswald) then went home, ate it and watched TV. Good times.

I should be working on some AP Bio work but I'm too tired from doing nothing and I want to wallow some more, I don't know why but I just do. I need to level my moods a little more(I'm not crazy). I think I need sleep, fun, and good food, which I haven't gotten 2/3 of lately. Well I'm going to dream of crazy black comedians and vice principals in crazy outfits... and maybe more KFC. Colin sucks. Good night y'all

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

God Bless ya, you're a true Mavrick, you betcha!

I hate Sarah Palin. I just had to say that. But if she wasn't around I'd need to find someone else to make fun of, which is not hard. The debate last night was pretty informative. It strengthened my support for Barack Obama and weakened my trust and faith in John McCain. Colin, of course, still sucks. I'm really anxious to just get this damn election over with so we can all move on to something new.

The day of my emergence into this chaotic universe is vastly approaching. I sort of know what I want but I cant really seem to hone in on a big gift, which I usually can think of in a second(previous years). I'm glad it's on a Friday so I can enjoy it without school looming over my fun time.

I did a lot of crap today and I'm really ready to do nothing tomorrow(which I will fill you all in on tomorrow). Lucky you! See ya later and enjoy tomorrow, especially you, Jewish readers!

Open Wide...

Today is dentist day. DAMN! I've been keeping up with the maintenance I just hate sitting there for so long and when they rip at my gums I'm like WTF who taught you how to do this?!

Moving on, I found out I'm not failing any classes, I am actually doing well. The lowest is a C+ in AP Biology and considering I thought I would fail, I'm pleased. I hope I can do better in Algebra 2, not my strong point but I'm working on it...sort of. So I hope this keeps up and keeps me out of depression. Yay!

We had to run the fucking mile in AP Walking(gym for awesome slackers). I think with the combo of my severe allergies and the frigid weather my lungs might just dwindle to little nothings. Oh well. Colin sucks.

I want to thank you, the readers, because I never really thought of myself as a blogger and at first this was just to piss of Colin. But now I'm really enjoying it. So thanks. I'm off to see Dr. Ricco, dentist of the stars..well really just old people, and me. So see ya around.

I've Got Animals on My Mind and Fall...again

On Facebook I am a member of the Stop Puppy Mills group. If you have ever been to a pet store like All Pets Club you will see the cute puppies sitting and playing and having fun. Do you know where they came from? They were born on a puppy mill, most likely on an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, crammed in small wire cages and heir mothers half dead. I know it's depressing but we really need to do something about it. The Amish community believe that they have the god given right to do what they want to animals lower than them on the food chain...but they don't! So there is my public service announcement for today.

In other news, we have Thursday off from school. I'm excited because hopefully I wont have too much work and I can enjoy the cool autumn day outside. There's just something about fall that just makes everything seem clear and right... its hard to explain.

Well for now I've run out of things to talk about and Colin sucks. I'm off to listen to the rhythmic sounds of James Taylor, that's right you heard me. Anyway I'll be back later.

Osolots and Tigers and Bears...

The weekend turned out to be good for me. On Saturday, myself and my neighbors went to the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, a quaint little oasis in the middle of a crappy city(no offense). I enjoyed watching the crazy monkeys jump all around their cages and stick their butts in each others faces. One thing that made me sad, being an animal lover, was that the cages for the bears, tigers, and osolots were way too small for them. They all looked like they were going insane being pent up in there. I talked to one of the directors for the zoo and he said that they are trying to expand their areas but they need more funding from the state. An why cant the state fund the zoo? Because we(state) are suffering from the economic downfall, at the expense of the animals. I know I sound like a damn hippy but if you ever visit the zoo, try and donate some $ for the animal's sake.

That same day I went to the Bishops Haymaze. I forgot just how much fun running around aimlessly in hay could be. I brought me back to when I use to go with my cousins every year and I always get lost. Damn maze, if only there was cheese waiting for me at the end, or cake.

Tomorrow is more school, oh boy. But that seems to be okay with me. Fall is such a great time of year because it's my birthday(31st Oct.) and I love the brisk air and the beautiful, almost symbolic turning of the leaves. I'm off to pretend to study for Spanish.

Friday Sweet Friday

As I write this I'm watching the Spongebob episode where Sandy wants to go back to Texas and I have to say the older episodes re wayyyyyy funnier than the new ones. The new ones aren't as creative. Moving on from the best show ever...

Did anyone see the vp debate last night. If not, I don't blame you, it wasn't very impressive. Palin gave her usual spiel about being a hockey mom and her answers were as expected, broad and scattered, although she did maintain her composer the whole time which was impressive to me. Biden did well, he seemed to be more about the people(citizens) while Palin was about her and McCain.

Today is Friday in case you forgot. I hope the weather is nice so I can go for a hike or ride my bike . Colin sucks. I'm feeling optimistic and tired... and hungry so I'll be back later. Enjoy the day!

Thursdays connected to...

Today was a full day for me. Colin sucks. I had 2 tests in a row, one easy ish and the other long and tortuous. But I think I did well on both. Also today is my moms bday and I still don't know what to get her(oops) but she says she doesn't wan any gifts.

Which brings me to my next point. Who the hell wouldn't want free gifts?! I mean really, there is nothing more exciting than getting a good present for just being old.

I know I'm a little late to mention this but one of the great humanitarian, actor, food sellers is gone, Paul Newman. I really think he accomplished a lot in his lifetime and his inspiration gestures will be around for a long time.

Also, I was reading Walden while waiting for the dentist today, we have to for English 11 Honors. When I started it I though this guy needs to shut up because he whines too much. But today I was reading the chapter on solitude and I actually enjoyed it. I have to say he was one perceptive man who said what a lot of us today think about the world. So I officially retract my hating Walden statement and substitute my fresh, new, dentist waiting room induced opinion.

Yay Friday!! Well needed day for me I don't know about the rest of you. This has been a long week and hopefully the weekend will bring more good with it. See ya around!

Just another blog

Today in AP Walking, yes you heard right, AP Walking, we didnt walk. I know what you're thinking but really if you arent familiar with the class the goal is to exert as little energy and effort as possible. I found out that I can do a significant number of crunches, oh boy.

Also in Colin news, he sucks.

Moving on, for the first time in AP Bio I got a 10/10 on my essay. You might be saying to yourself "Self, thats not impressive." For me it was so there.

I've been thinking about my future in education(not janitorial school, Colin). So far I know that I want to go to a school in the Northeast, preferable Mass. of Vermont, but Rhode Island is also on my mind (not Carolina, James Taylor). This has just added a little more to my already overwhelming thought process(scary to think about) but right now it seems to be the most facinating. But I am trying to make time for just doing fun things b/c the past 2-3 weekends have been devoted to studying, tv, and sleep. So this weekend I think I'm going fishing again(btw I caught 6 yesterday, in case you care) and maybe see some firends and enjoy fall, my fav. time of year.

Alright, I'm done rambling. As i write this I'm waiting in my 8th open to stay after school to study for a carp AP Bio test tomorrow, the majority of my work and lack of fun weekends. Until whenever, chao.

Thank you Jewish Community

Dear Jewish readers,
Thank you for this holiday, I really really didnt want to drag my sorry ass into school today and look half way interested in what the teachers had to say. So thanks!

Anyway, today I will probably spend my day studying for the shittyest class ever, AP Biology. I mean this class sucks with the amount of work we have to do and yeah I know it's an AP class but this is my blog and I can still bitch and whine all I want. Also if the weather isnt too craptaculous then I will go fishing(dinner anyone?:)

In economic news, HOLY SHIT! Yeah thats right, we are going to see some durastic changes for a bit, but what can we do? I better get my car converted into sleeping quarters when the second depression hits.

And there is one more important bit of trivia I must share with you all. Colin sucks. Well that is the name of the blog and I have to be true to my beliefs. Haha so there ya go. Enjoy this day of no school and work and do absolutly nothing but sit on the couch, watch tv, eat, and read my blog.
